All set for Airtel Media Golf Challenge

NAIROBI, Kenya:   The stage is set for a bruising battle as the 1st leg of this year’s Airtel Media Golf Challenge tees off on Saturday  at the Golf Park, Ngong Road. The competition that pools journalists from several media houses will see a contest among reporters and their editors as well as integration of Airtel Kenya staff into the fray spice the 2015 edition where the overall winning media house team will enjoy a 1 month fully paid golf practice at the Golf Park. 

In a statement, Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi said the tournament is meant to encourage journalists to bond and to pursue their passion in sport, promising a more exciting all year event. “Airtel is delighted to create an environment where journalists are able to meet interact as they enjoy the sport. I look forward to the second edition of the golf challenge, as this exhibits our core brand attribute of freedom, by supporting the journalists in their quest to learn and play golf. We are giving them freedom to do whatever they want achieve, and giving our customers freedom is our goal at Airtel.
