AS Roma winger Gervinho reportedly tries to smuggle woman on a private jet to Rome

Gervinho gets four Ivorian airport workers fired trying to smuggle a woman on a private jet to Rome.

According to a report by local Ivorian outlet IMatin (in French), Gervinho attempted to bring a woman to Italy after playing for the Ivory Coast against Cameroon last week in the final African Cup of Nations qualifier.

AS Roma provided him with a private jet after the game, but the footballer turned up for his flight  with an unauthorised woman.

“IMatin report that Gervinho bribed four Ivorian airport workers to turn a blind eye to the fact that his female companion wasn’t suppose to be on the flight. Gervinho then reportedly went to speak to the pilot to get his agreement on his extra passenger, however the pilot flatly refused and the lady was left behind. The four workers have been fired from their posts,” reports SBNation.com
