David De Gea is fit for Manchester United's game against Arsenal on Saturday.

De Gea suffered a dislocated finger on international duty with Spain and was considered a major doubt for the Emirates clash.

But United boss Louis van Gaal has revealed De Gea has recovered from the injury and will start against Arsene Wenger's side.

Angel Di Maria, who suffered a cut foot in Argentina's 1-0 defeat to Portugal, is also fit, but United have doubts over Michael Carrick and Luke Shaw.

"David De Gea is good, no problem," said Van Gaal. "Michael Carrick, we have to wait for the reaction tomorrow in the training session. But I expect that he is also ready to play."

Daley Blind, who suffered a knee injury playing for Holland, is out of the clash. but Van Gaal said his problem is not as serious as first feared.

"He is not ready to play," said the United boss. "He now has a brace on his knee and after 10 days' rest he will have another scan and then we can see more about the injury.

"It is not so bad as the doctors were thinking after the match, but it should be a long story I believe, but it is not six months or so."

On his enduring injury nightmare, Van Gaal said: "I'm always a worried man in Manchester because we have a lot of injuries.

"It's unbelievable. But we have to manage. We can speak about all the injuries, but we still have to manage that.

"I've said that also to the players. It's a pity, but we have enough players to do the job.

"Jonny Evans is coming back. I think he will play in the second squad this week.

"But the other players are not coming back. When they are coming back they also need two full training weeks.

"I have explained that also to the players. It's not that you advance onto the bench and then you can play for 20 minutes. You have to build it up.

"I have done that with Robin van Persie at the beginning of the season.

“Falcao has a new injury and that takes time. Now it's four weeks and next week he shall train with our selection and then he needs two weeks. It's always like that.

"It's a pity, but players in football are injured. Only at this stage we have a lot of injuries.

“I was thinking after this international break that we only have one or two injuries, but it isn't like that.

“You have to play a lot of matches in England, more than in other countries so it shall be difficult enough.
