Security firm trains guards on anti-terror skills

Perks Security Limited, a Nairobi-based private security firm is expanding its operations to the Coast, targeting hospitality establishments.

The firm will also offer its services to shipping lines, shopping malls, residential homes and educational institutions. Speaking to Weekend Business, Perks Security Limited Operations Director Erick King’ori said all their guards have undergone training on anti-terrorism to curb attacks. “Part of the training module for guard force is anti-terror tackling which we offer in close liaison with the National Police Service (NPS),’’ said King’ori, who is South African trained security management and criminology expert.
