National carrier, Kenya Airways, yestrerday informed passengers to have printed copy of electronic visa before boarding effective September 1, or risk missing flight or entry into Kenya.
The warning follows the Government’s move to embrace electronic visa application effective September 1, 2015. The new rules were first announced on July 1, and the Kenya Government gave a grace period that expires on August 31, 2015.
“Effective September 1 2015, passengers may be denied boarding of their flight to Kenya or denied entry to Kenya if they do not have printed copy of their e-visa with them,” said the airline in a statement.
