Mada Hotels acquires lodge in Makindu

Mada Hotels has bought 52 roomed Hunters Lodge in Kiboko, Makindu area. Mada Hotels Group Marketing Manager, Betty Olwenyi, said the property built in 1958 by Kenya’s safari enthusiast, JA Hunter has been restored to its former glory following the acquisition by Mada Hotels.

The lodge is bliss for birdwatchers with over 100 species inhabiting its proximity. “It has always been a well-known stop over on the road from Nairobi to Mombasa. It is known for its reasonable prices for accommodation and camping,” she said.
