Kenyans have been stunned by the lengths to which NASA and Jubilee leaders have gone to make political capital out of the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation (TJRC) report.
There is no doubt that the report by the Bethuel Kiplagat-led team raised weighty issues, some of which stand in the way of a prosperous and united Kenya. TJRC was established by an Act of Parliament to investigate rights violations between 1963 and 2008. Indeed, it was expected that implementing the truth report would foster unity, reconciliation and healing.
