President Uhuru Kenyatta is having a very rough time as the General elections draws near. There are several things that seem to stress the president as he tries to look for better ways to handle them.

The President has a hard time of bringing together those politician who are vying for Nairobi gubernatorial seat. All the aspirant are determined to clinch the nomination ticket without really agreeing among themselves.

Everyone one wants to battle it out on his own. This seat has attracted many aspirants from the jubilee side,an issue that is bringing disunity instead of a healthy competition.

According to some sources, it was being proposed that Mike Sonko should defend his current seat as Peter Kenneth goes for Nairobi governorship. Many think that Peter Kenneth is a very strong candidate that is supposed to battle it out with Evans Kidero.

Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta has also a hard time of fulfilling some of the pledges he made to Kenyans before they elected him into office. As a president he has done a lot and still more is being expected from him by Kenyans.

The security situation in the country is also giving the President sleepless nights. This is an electioneering year and anything can happen. He has a responsibilitry of stopping any pre and post-election violence.

The Al Shabaab militia also pose a very big threat to the country and each and everything should be done to secure the nation.

Something that also seems to be of great concern to the president is the civil servants who want to resign and join politics, more so the Cabinet Secretaries.

The president has urged the Cabinet Secretaries who want to resign and vie for political seats not to do so.He asked them to instead concentrate on their jobs and help his government in delivering the required services to Kenyans.

This comes as a number of cabinet Secretaries declared their interests to vie for political seats. This will backtrack the progress of the ministries they hold.

Many parts of the country have been hit by severe droughts that are making many Kenyans to starve as others die.As a leader, he has a responsibility of making sure that these Kenyans get what to eat. He has to go out of the budget to take care of such a disaster.

Lastly, the president has a responsibility to ensure that many people register as voters in his strongholds so that through their votes he goes for a second term. On the other hand, he has a task of convincing those who didn't voter for him in the last general election to vote for him.

Meanwhile the State House Spokesman Manoah Espisu has hinted that good plans have been put in place to see to eat that everything runs smoothly. He also said that talks are underway to ensure that the ministers shelve their ambitions to join politics.

Regarding the Nairobi county politics, Mr. Manoah downplayed the disunity of the candidates seeking the Nairobi gubernatorial seat. He said that it is a healthy competition and freedom of democracy.
