Stop exposing IEBC job applicants to shame

After five candidates were shortlisted for the IEBC chairman’s job interview, it was a shock for Kenyans when the selection panel rejected them and re-advertised the position.

lt was discovered that all but one had integrity issues. I wish they had interviewed the one who remained.

That is why l fear applying for such high profile jobs. Some organisations put names of all applicants in all newspapers and the internet for all and sundry to see. That is risking someone’s current job. In case one is employed in the private sector, the employer may assume the person is not satisfied with his/her current job.
