Kwale Governor urges Muslim clerics to unite

Muslim clerics in Kwale County have been called upon to unite and put their differences aside in order to provide good leadership.

 Speaking during a fund-raiser, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya (above) said unity is key in ensuring the youth are not wooed to join terror groups by those who take advantage of the clerics’ disunity.

He said Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya leaders who were not happy with the outcome of council elections had formed a parallel council.
