First batch of school laptops arrive in Nairobi, all Class One pupils to have devices by December

The first cargo batch of 5,000 laptops for the primary schools pupils and teachers arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. Information & Communication Technology Authority Ag. NAIROBI: The government Friday received the first batch of the 1.2 million digital literacy devices.

The cargo that arrived at 5am from China contained 5,000 devices with 20,000 devices expected to be in the country by the end of the month through KQ cargo.
