Carlos Tevez has revealed that Chelsea have tried to sign him this summer.

But the former Manchester United, Manchester City and West Ham striker says that he will not be returning to England - as he wants to retire at Boca Juniors.

Tevez returned to his boyhood club last year and has scored nine times in 17 games.

He started his career with Boca and took his career full circle after leaving Juventus to return home.

However, he is wanted back in Europe already and he has revealed both Chelsea and Napoli have been tracking his progress this summer.

But he says he will not be going anywhere.

“I feel really good at Boca,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “Better, my idea, my dream is to end my career in this sensational club.

“It’s true, Napoli and Chelsea are following me but, I repeat, my will is to remain at Boca until I retire.”
