We live in the age of grand weddings. Everybody wants to have the most amazing marriage ceremony to show off to other people. The wedding industry has deluded everyone into believing that we need to conform to expected standards while surpassing everything that has come before us by having the most spectacular wedding ever.

The pressure that is put on brides and grooms trickles down to the bridal party. Being asked to be a bridesmaid at a wedding is a privilege which you should be joyous, but beware of the absolute stress that comes with this honoured position.
