A veteran deejay is rumoured to be behind a planned fresh attack on the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) in which he is wooing artistes to record videos trashing the giant artistes’ body.
Speaking to MondayBlues, a celebrated musician confessed having been approached by the said deejay to record a video similar to the one released by successful singing trio Elani, last week.
“The MCSK battle is not just a battle about artistes and royalties.
There are many invisible hands and interest groups that have been making millions from artistes and now feel threatened because they are being exposed. It is a battle of sorts,” said the source.
