20 Jubilee MPs reject Kenya's amnesty call for Al shabaab recruits

Nairobi, Kenya: At least 20 Jubilee MPs have rejected government's call for amnesty for Al Shabaab recruits saying they should be punished.

The legislators also asked North Eastern leaders including Majority Leader Aden Duale to release the names of suspects as they promised or else they should all 'step aside'.

The MPs made the remarks while addressing a news conference Thursday in the Media Centre at the Main Parliament Buildings in Nairobi.

They were led by Kabando wa Kabando (Mukurweini), Johnson Sakaja (nominated) and Maison Leshoomo (Samburu).
