New group to 'Okoa Wanaume' from violent women

Simon Kaguta
Simon Kaguta from Nyeri became the face of violence against men after he suffered in the hands of his wife.

Men rights organisation Maendeleo Ya Wanaume led by self-declared Chairman Nderitu Njoka could soon be facing competition from a parallel outfit being fronted by one Philemon Kipyegon aka Young Phill, a businessman and IT specialist. Kipyegon revealed that he is in the final stages forming another movement to defend men’s rights dubbed Okoa Wanaume Network.

He told The Nairobian that, “I am not against what Njoka is doing. Mine will focus more on areas where men are oppressed, including financial exploitation by women, sexual harassment, and gender discrimination in terms of employment and violence against men.”
