The county government has announced plans to enact laws which will incorporate professionals in decision making.

Governor Kinuthia Mbugua said professionals can help fast-track development in the region by offering expertise in their areas of specialisation hence the need to work with them. Mbugua said his government is ready to work with anyone with viable ideas.

“This is the first professional association in the county and we are ready to work with anyone who can help us develop Nakuru,” Mbugua said during the official launch of the Naivasha Professional Association (NPA). He challenged the professionals to uphold integrity in their various endevours. NPA Chairman Absolom Mukuusi said the group’s members were drawn from various sectors and were willing to offer their expertise to spur growth in the county.
