Bungoma woman flees after scalding her 'mpango wa kando' with hot water

Police in Lwakhakha Bungoma County are looking for a married middle-aged woman who scolded her boyfriend with hot water after he found her with another man in a compromising situation.

Kevin Barasa a son to Maendeleo ya wanawake organization chairperson Sirisia sub county Mildred Barasa had visited her 'sweet mama' only to find her with another man.

And when he made attempts to find out the reason for the betrayal, the woman allegedly ran for the hot water in the kitchen pouring on him instantly.

"Kwani hapa ni kwako ndio uniulize maswali ya ujinga? (is this your house to ask me silly questions?)," asked the woman.

The woman's husband works in Nairobi giving the woman ample time to sneak in men. Rose Namalwa a neighbour said the suspect has illicit affairs with different men without them knowing each other.

The victim who was rushed to Lwandanyi dispensary in critical condition sustained serious injuries on the face, chest, stomach and the legs.

The health facility clinical officer in charge, Felix Pombo said, "We received the patient, treated him and referred him to Bungoma Hospital because the scars injuries were beyond our capacity." Lwakhakha police base Officer Commanding station (OCS) Anthony Karisa said the police are pursuing the culprit who fled after committing the offence.

"My officers are in hot pursuit of the culprit who is believed to have fled to Uganda after committing the offence, but we will soon catch up with her," said Karisa.
