Some Rift Valley politicians are not happy with an influential senator from the region. The politicians - a governor and some MPs - have accused the senator of turning their party leader against them.
This happened a week ago when the politicians held a closed door meeting that they hoped the party leader would address after an official function in the region.
The party leader, however, sneaked out and they only learned of his departure when he was in Nairobi. They have since heaped their frustrations at not meeting the elusive leader on the senator.
