UDF expels Senators Boni Khalwale, Wangari

NAIROBI KENYA: UDF delegates have expelled Senators Boni Khalwale and Martha Wangari (nominated) during Monday's special NDC in Nairobi.

Boni who has been at the forefront of Okoa Kenya campaigns was shown the door for probably his association with Raila Odinga's CORD

Earlier the party expelled party chairman Hassan Osman and replaced him with party leader Musalia Mudavadi's close ally Kassim Sawa Tandaza.

In the new line-up, Mudavadi remains party leader while Jeremiah Kioni is deputy. 

Kassim Sawa Tandaza has been picked as chairman, Yare Mohamed first deputy chairman and Jane Marwa as second deputy chair.

Former MP Justus Kizito is secretary general and Maimuna Abdullahi deputy secretary general. 

Former Laikipia West MP Nderitu Muriithi picked as new treasurer to be deputised by Hamida Musa.

Basil Mwakiringo is Organising Secretary and Petronilla Were retained as CEO of the party.

George Thuranira becomes new chairman of national youth league and Beatrice Adagala Women league and Moyale MP Roba Duba appointed parliamentary whip.
