Man who dug grave without death held

Kilifi, Kenya: Police have arrested a man who ordered people to dig a grave at a family cemetery at Tezo, Kilifi county.

Police now claim Brownson Kahindi Katana was planning murder and want to charge him for that.

The 42-year-old Katana stunned his family when he hired three men to dig the grave as no relation had died. He shocked them further when he asked his family to calm down because he was going to tell them who would be buried in the grave.

"You need not to worry about the grave. Just wait and see the person to be buried in it,"Katana said

Outgoing Kilifi county police commander James Kithuka said the man will be charged in court with assault and attempted murder.
