SUCCESS: Kamworor and Jeptoo win in Bogota

Kenyans Geoffrey Kamworor and Rita Jeptoo were the winners of “Medio Maraton de Bogota”, a half-marathon ran at 2600m altitude in Colombia. Kamworor ran easily at the beginning before starting to push completely alone in second half and going through the finish line in 1:03:18. A positive test for Kamworor for his fall marathon which will be announced soon. Second Dickson Chumba in 1:04:10 while third was Kiplimo Kimutai 1:04:27. Miguel Amador was first local athlete as eleventh in 1:09:11. Jeptoo in women category took the lead in the last part clearly and won in 1:13:39. She will head back to Kenya for training for Chicago Marathon.
