Things men dont like when their women move in

After Carol made that executive decision to move to your house, things moved very fast and became too thick for you. You went away for two days and came back and your house had been transformed into a pink mess.

The curtains are pinkish. The carpet is pinkish. Her teddy bears are pinkish. And now the whole house looks like a gay man's pad. But Carol, like all typical women once she is in charge of a household, she only consults herself.

 She needs no second opinion. So the takeover was pretty fast and overwhelming. Especially that ported plant and buying a pet that you want to kick dead as soon as possible.

So when you came back you didn't even know where to start. Even your much beloved couch had been kicked out, giving way for her heavyset furniture. In the bedroom, her clothes have taken over the entire wardrobe and your few suits, jeans and T-shirts have been reduced to a footnote in the side wardrobe.

The bathroom is a mini-cosmetic shop with her entire laboratory of bathing soaps, a line of shampoos and fragrances.

You can't question Carol. No one questions her. She is a dictator. Now she has turned your house into a no-go zone area. Certainly, you can't invite your boys for a weekend football match, lest their smelly feet ruin the fluffy pink and white carpet. The whole atmosphere is not male-friendly. Now you are claustrophobic.

The last one week you have been passing through the bar every evening and drinking as much as possible to stand that house. To her credit, Carol has not complained. She cooks like a wife is supposed to, goes home early and she is quite cooperative. Some deception there.

She can make a good actor. You can tell, she is not doing these things for you. She has her motive. Hoodwinking. May be.

Now, where do men turn to, when the house becomes inhospitable. The bar is certainly a place to start, but you can't go to the bar in weekend mornings.

You can hang out with the boys, but it takes no effort on their part to discover your claustrophobia. Every newly married wife always drives the husband into fits of claustrophobia when they make the entire house about themselves, without caring the sensibilities of the man.

Little wonder why men spend all their time in bars.

It is because women can be very selfish with the space in the house. They do everything as if the man has no idea on what to do. He must say yes to everything because women do so anyway. Now in retrospect you understand why most men are so dissatisfied with their marriages and households.

As soon as you marry, there can never be peace at home. Besides feminising the house, technically all your freedom is gone.

Soon she is pregnant and has to be treated delicately. Soon there are children and no house is more unwelcome for a man than a house with newborn children and the first few years of the kids' lives. If men would pass on that responsibility, they would. But now, modern mothers insist that you must participate, they are right though.

Anyway, for now, you must find a favourite local where you can chill. That house is not your home anymore.
