NAIROBI, KENYA: Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's adviser on coalition affairs Miguna Miguna will release a new book on February 16.

Miguna will launch the book titled Kidneys for the King: De-forming the Status Quo in Kenya a few days before the March 4 general elections at the Panafric Hotel in Nairobi.

According to Miguna, the 300-pages book that will be sold for Sh2,000, will give an in depth analysis on presidential aspirants and their track records both in private and public service.

He said like his first book Peeling Back the Mask, the book will give detailed accounts based on personal observations, experiences, discussions and analysis of past and current political situation in Kenya.

The book, according to Miguna, will answer questions on whether the presidential aspirants are reformers or not.

In July last year, Miguna stirred controversy when he launched the book Peeling Back the Mask.

The book was received with mixed reactions with Miguna being accused of soiling Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s name.
