Kajwang’ tells off Uhuru over UDF

By James Omoro

Immigration Minister Otieno Kajwang has launched door-to-door campaigns in his quest to be the first Homa Bay County Senator.

While on a tour of the county, Kajwang’ claimed Jubilee Alliance presidential candidate, Uhuru Kenyatta, couldn’t be trusted with the leadership after he ‘played’ Deputy Prime Minister MP Musalia Mudavadi.

He said if elected, Uhuru was likely to sell out Kenya and later claim to have been misled by ‘demonic powers’.

Call to voters

He said integrity is important, adding that the country might suffer crisis in governance if leaders with questionable character come to power.

“Uhuru and Ruto have played a rough game and have seriously injured Mudavadi. I think it would not be prudent to bestow leadership of this country on them because that is a sign of lack of trust among leaders,” Kajwang’ said.

Speaking in Oyugis, Kajwang’ urged Kenyans to assess integrity of politicians traversing various parts of the country in search of votes.

“Not everybody who wants leadership of this country is able to deliver services according to expectations of many Kenyans. Time has come when every one of us should look be careful who they elect in the next General Election,” Kajwang’ said.

Yesterday, Kajwang’ expressed optimism the Coalition of Reforms and Democracy (CORD) whose presidential candidate is Prime Minister Raila Odinga would win.
