Rwandan refugee put under formal investigation for Nantes Cathedral fire: Le Monde

French prosecutors put a Rwandan refugee under formal investigation early on Sunday after the man confessed to setting fire to the 15-century Nantes cathedral, French newspaper Le Monde reported.

The 39-year-old man, who worked as a volunteer warden at the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, had been questioned again on Saturday by prosecutors who now have put him under custody, Le Monde reported.
