Troubles at the east African Portland cement company seem to be far from over. Just six days after resuming operations following a three week strike by its workers, the multibillion shilling company is now facing another closure—this time because of lack of limestone. A section of residents of Kabini in sultan Hamud have blocked the company from accessing a quarry where it excavates clinker--a Keyraw material in cement manufacturing.
