SASRA on licenses

Savings and credit cooperative societies operating Front Office Service Activities, or fosas, have until June this year to fully comply with all regulatory regulations to be allowed to continue offering the services. The Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority, SASRA, has issued 90 licenses for the operations so far and has another 40 pending applications. The authority issued certificates of compliance to seven Sacco’s, and challenged others to fast track their compliance.
