Governor Ochillo blames national govt for Migori's poor roads

Migori Governor Ochilo Ayacko asks Community Health Promoters (CHPs) to exercise patience as they source for funds to pay their salaries. The governor who together with Kuria East MP Maisori Kitayama led in the groundreaking ceremony of Kegonga level (IV) Hospital on February 5, 2025 says CHPs are mostly paid by donors. Migori Governor Ochilo Ayacko has blamed the difficulty in maintaining county roads on a lack of enough resources and delays in funding from the National Treasury.

The governor said they have limited funding, which streams from the national government in small bits that cannot have an impact on development.
