Muliro Gardens facelift stopped over permit issues

The ongoing facelift of Muliro Gardens has been temporarily stopped by Kenya Forest Service (KFS), claiming it was interfering with endangered tree species.

Ecosystem Conservator Martin Mamati arrived at the garden with armed KFS officers and suspended further clearance of bamboo trees in the park, until permits are obtained.
