Alshabaab terror attack in Wajir

Wajir South's District officer and two other civil servants are being held hostage by Al shabaab in Somalia after an attack on a police post in Gerille location last night. A group of men armed with guns and explosives, raided an administration police post at nightfall killing 6 people — including three police officers — and wounding several others. Both the Kenya police and the Kenya defense forces in Somalia are in hot pursuit of the militia, as they attempt to rescue the three Kenyans.
