Nobel Peace Prize 2011

Three women, two of them from Africa, have been named the joint 2011 Nobel peace prize winners. Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Liberian activist Leymah Gbowee and Yemeni activist Tawakkul Karman were awarded by the Norwegian committee for their tremendous contribution to peace and women's rights.
