Potato production

The Dutch government has pledged to assist Kenya in its endeavor to cure the Kenyan of its addiction to the maize staple and instead turn to other foods like potato and cassava.  The endeavor is expected to be conducted through increased participation in seed potato production, private seed potato multipliers, seed potato research and development, community seed potato storage, potato value addition and processing and seed potato import restriction.
