ICC ruling on Kenya case

The confirmation of charges hearings for six Kenyans facing trial for international crimes will not be held in Kenya. An ICC judge has ruled that the Ocampo six and any witnesses to appear at the hearings will have to travel to the Hague this September. Also in a ruling delivered today by the pre-trial chamber of the international criminal court, the three ICC judges have declined the Kenya government’s request for prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo’s evidence and statements.
