Ongeri hosted Kibaki in Kisii today where it was expected the president would break his silence over the scandal, but it turns out that Ongeri will continue to fight for his life at the ministry on his own. There have been widespread calls for the minister to resign over fraud involving 4.6 billion shillings meant for the Kenya education sector support program.
