By | January 9th 2011
Three suspects, among them a man described as Kenya’s most wanted poacher, were arrested today in Ntugi market near Meru town. The three were found with 250 kilograms of raw ivory and rhino horns in what Kenya wildlife service officials termed a major breakthrough in the fight against poaching. Two of the suspects were traveling to Meru. The third was arrested at his house where another consignment of ivory was found buried in his compound.
