IIEC On Electoral Violence

The interim independent electoral commission says it has registered 12.6 million voters, about ten percent less than the total registered before the last general election. Rift valley province leads with 3 million registered voters, followed by eastern at 2 million. The IIEC says those found to have registered more than once must surrender all excess voters cards or risk being taken to court.
