Swoop At Lands Ministry

Operations at the ministry of lands were paralyzed for several hours after permanent secretary Dorothy Angote launched an impromptu hunt for missing files in the ministry’s
headquarters at ardhi house. The PS, accompanied by lands commissioner Zablon Mabea and other senior ministry
officials, spent most of the day moving from office to office to track files missing from the central registry.  They were shock to find hundreds of files locked up in various offices by ministry officials who hide files to extort money from the public. Workers and the usual brokers at ardhi house were caught unawares when they found their offices locked before the operation started.
