Police say conman suspect slept with over 13 women MPs and senior government officials

Twenty-three-year-old Wazir Benson Chacha Masubo wanted for extorting money from Kenyan MPs and Senators was arrested and detained at the Muthaiga police station in his hideout in Tarime, Tanzania.

Chacha had been hiding in Tanzania before his arrest waiting for his documents before he could move to Zanzibar where he had rented a house for a year.

The suspect is alleged to have seduced the women legislators putting them in compromised situations before conning them.

He is also said to have CCTV footage showing every secret detail between him and the female MPs.

In February 2018, photos of former Bomet County Women Representative Cecilia Ngetich in bed with Chacha surfaced on the internet.
