Hillary Clinton reveals that nullified Kenyan election was project of a controversial data firm

Former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has linked Kenya’s nullified August 8th election to a controversial United States Data firm.

Cambridge Analytica is a company capable of mining individual profiles and data online for the purpose of customizing political messages to connect with voters. The company is linked to a Robert Mercer – billionaire known for supporting political candidates.

Clinton was very clear when she criticised the role of Facebook in the United States, with social media platforms acting as avenues for propaganda and fake news during the electioneering period, in Kenya and in the US.

However, Clinton was quick to point out that the US did not have a means of annulling presidential elections like Kenya, who did it through the Supreme Court.

Chief Justice David Maraga led a seven bench judge, making history by declaring the results of the August 8th presidential election null and void.

Speaking in an interview with a Radio host in the US, Clinton said, “I just don’t think we have a mechanism. You know, the Kenya election was just overturned and really what’s interesting about that, and I hope somebody writes about it, the Kenyan election was also a project of Cambridge Analytica, the data company owned by the Mercer family that was instrumental in the Brexit vote.”

By this statement, Hillary recognised the decision by Kenya’s Supreme Court, insisting that the US did not have such a mechanism in case elections had problems.

She lost to Donald Trump who belongs to the Republican Party.

There have been allegations that the US presidential election was manipulated and investigations are still ongoing.
