Rapper Doja Cat caught COVID-19 after downplaying the virus

Doja Cat downplayed the seriousness of coronavirus, appearing to mock people that were fearful of the deadly virus.

Doja Cat has revealed that she contracted COVID-19 but has made a full recovery after a four-day ordeal. The 24-year-old American rapper, who previously said 'she didn't give a f***' about the pandemic, didn't say when she came down with the virus but speculated that she had contracted it through a food delivery service. Speaking to Capital XTRA, the musician explained that she had a 'freakout' of symptoms that lasted four days.

“I got COVID," Doja Cat, whose real name is Amalaratna Zandile Dlamini, said.
