The world should learn how to cope with Covid-19 crisis, world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge said as he donated food to vulnerable families in Eldoret on Wednesday.

Kipchoge said most low income earners live in abject poverty. Michael Karanja, a partially blind father of 17 children, benefited from Kipchoge's donations -- food and clothes -- in Langas area.

He called for collaboration among government, corporate firms and individuals to come up with ways of helping vulnerable families. “We need to learn to cope with the coronavirus. We should think together in order to come up with other programmes that will help every citizen,” Kipchoge said.
