Ndindi Nyoro blames handshake for Jubilee troubles

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has blamed the handshake for the current wrangles in Jubilee Party.

While speaking to a vernacular station on Tuesday, the lawmaker argued that ever since the handshake, some things have stopped functioning properly.

He further pledged his allegiance to DP William Ruto, saying he will not be part of a plan to ‘swallow’ Jubilee.

"The genesis of these problems is the handshake. There are people you greet and immediately you lose your balance and start feeling dizzy. From the moment Uhuru greeted Raila, he has not been the same."

"My position is that I will never be part of Kanu attempting to swallow Jubilee. Kanu has been a major pain to the people of Kiharu and I will never lead my people there. I will stick with Ruto to the end," he said.

On the ouster of Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Susan Kihika, Nyoro opined that the move was aimed at instilling fear and forcing Ruto’s allies to abandon him.

"The changes made in the Senate and in other senior government offices have one target - to send a message to Ruto's allies that whatever you have got we will take it away.

“It was meant to instill fear and force Ruto's people to abandon him," he said.

Earlier, lawyer Donald Kipkorir told the DP Ruto camp that they should lie low since it is almost impossible to beat ‘the system.’

Kipkorir advised the DP’s camp to walk away before time runs out.

“Lie Low…keep your mouths shut…You can’t win against the System. People vote, the System Count…Your multiple litigations will come to nothing.

“When placing bets, know the house always wins. Jubilee Marriage is long DEAD [sic]. Walk away when you still can,” said Kipkorir.
