Controversial lawyer-cum politician Miguna Miguna has lost his father-in-law who collapsed and died in Migori.
Benson Awange died as he was being taken to the hospital on Wednesday night. This happened a week ahead of Miguna's expected return to Kenya.
The Canada-based lawyer and self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement leader has announced that he will be returning home on January 7.
Miguna was deported in 2018 following his role in the mock swearing-in of opposition leader Raila Odinga as the People's President.
Yesterday, Miguna took to his twitter handle to mourn his father-in-law.
"Mourning my father-in-law Mzee Benson Omolo Awange, who passed suddenly in Migori Town at around 12:30am on January 2, 2020. My heartfelt condolences to my mother-in-law, wife, Jane and Eunice, Ochieng', Gwayo, Judy and Awuor. May your soul rest in eternal peace," Miguna tweeted.
