Babu Owino’s promise to man who dropped out of university to become watchman

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has come to the rescue of a man who dropped out of the university to become a watchman in Mombasa County due to lack of school fees.

The legislator has promised to help Cosmas Mutua, who dropped out form Multimedia University finish his studies.

Mr Owino pledged to fully sponsor the college drop out in areas surrounding his education until he graduates. 

“Today, I met comrade Cosmas Mutua who dropped out of Multimedia university because of lack of school fees to be a watchman in Mombasa. He arrived in Nairobi today morning, and we discussed several issues pertaining to his education, which I will fully sponsor until he graduates. God bless Comrades,” said the MP.

On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, the MP, through his social media handles, requested for the whereabouts of Mutua citing that he wanted to help him go back to college.

The Embakasi East MP posted his photo on social media and asked Kenyans to alert him in case anyone knew where he was.

“If anyone knows the whereabouts of this comrade who dropped out from the university to be a watchman because of lack of fees to alert me. I want to help him complete his studies,” posted Babu Owino.

Kenyans on social media congratulated the MP for looking out for the college dropout and urged other politicians to do the same.
