Fortnite Chapter 2 trailer has leaked online, giving fans hope during the second day of the mysterious blackout.

The popular game has been down since Sunday night, leaving people unable to play and only able to see a ‘black hole’ on their screen.

While the outage has left many players concerned that Fortnite has been deleted entirely, thankfully it’s likely to be hype for the next release, expected to be called Fortnite Chapter 2.

Now, data miner SkinTrackerCom has leaked a trailer for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1.

The trailer suggests players will be able to travel around the island on boats - a new travel method that was leaked on the App Store last week.

It also indicates there will be a new way to level via medals, as well as over 100 new rewards.

Meanwhile, for those wanting to take it easy during the game, fishing seems to be available in Chapter 2.

Other key updates include the ability for players to swim rather than walk in water, and the ability to carry downed teammates.

While Fortnite’s Twitter page is still only showing a live stream to the black hole, thankfully experts predict that there’s not long to wait before Chapter 2 launches.

Yesterday, a data miner known as Lucas7yoshi has analysed the Fortnite code and predicted an end time for the outage.

His findings suggest that Fortnite will be back online on Thursday morning at 09:00 BST (04:00 EST).

However, he tweeted: “I really doubt they really going to make people not play for 4 days or whatever straight but it’s Epic lmao. Take it as you will.”

Mirror Online has contacted Epic Games for comment.
