Boda boda rider's genitals injured after being found in bed with friend’s wife

A bodaboda rider is nursing injuries after a mob crushed his genitals and broke his hand after finding him red-handed with his friend’s wife in Homa Bay County.

The resident of Lower Kodhoch Sub location in Rachuonyo East Sub-County suffered the ordeal when he was found in friend’s house sleeping his wife in the neighbouring Upper Kodhoch sub location last week.

His friend works in Mombasa where he spends more than four months before returning home.

Eyewitnesses the man had been taking advantage of  the husband's absence at home to engage in an extramarital affair with the wife.

When the husband got wind of the illicit affair on their relationship, he kept calm but planned his next move secretly.  He travelled back to the village in disguise.

He arrived mid-morning but instead of going home directly, he went to Chabera trading centre where he stayed until dusk.

This was meant to prevent anybody from noticing his presence in the village.

While in Chabera, he was communicating with a neighbour who was monitoring the boboda man's presence in the home.

He left Chabera and alighted at Kadongo trading centre before taking a motorbike to his home.

He then alighted about 500 metres away and trekked the remaining distance.

He arrived in his house at about 9.30pm and found Okello in his matrimonial bed.

Onyango  armed with sword, Onyango locked the bodaboda man  and the wife inside and threatened to kill him if he attempted to escape through the window.

Neighbours rushed to the scene and in five minutes, a number of people had surrounded his house.

Onyango explained to the mob why he had locked the mqn in the house.

The mob also testified that besieged man had been in a love affair with the woman.

Onyango opened the door and a mob pounced on  the bodaboda chap.

His right hand was broken and his private parts injured.

He also sustained injuries on the head and chest. He was rushed to Ramula sub-county hospital.

Lower Kodhoch Assistant Chief Charles Dete confirmed that the rider was injured.

“It is true the incident occurred in a different sub location but the victim comes from my sub location. Medical practitioners have assured me that his health is improving,” said Dete.
