A first time county boss elected on an opposition ticket appears to have decided to fully embrace Deputy President William Ruto.
Speculation is rife that the leader has decided to cut links with his party and jump ship so that he gets re-elected.
This is after realizing that his main competitor in the last election is exceptionally close to the DP, a matter that may pose challenges to him at the ballot.
For the past few weeks, key lieutenants of the county chief have been trying to reach out to Ruto’s aides to fix an appointment with him, said a close confidant of the renowned county boss.
“Kikulacho ki nguoni mwako,” said one MCA.
Another one told The Grapevine that the legislator may have outlived his usefulness.
