Two legislators from the same region are locked in vicious battle to win the heart of a staff member at the judiciary.
The seasoned politicians, an MP and Senator have for the last one month been trying to outdo each other to sweep the beautiful lady, who is in her 20’s and hails from their region, off her feet. Sources have told The Grapevine that the love-struck duo who are both married have separately promised to buy the stunning beauty a car if she gives in to their demands.
Both lawmakers are doing their second term in office.
Coincidentally the MP took over the seat he is holding from the Senator.
Elsewhere, the phrase “When it rains, it pours” seems to have been coined with a former renowned politician in mind.
Since he was kicked out by the electorate, the man has known no peace as he has been battling corruption chargers.
His woes may however escalate, after his wife indicated to her acquaintances that she plans to dump the embattled man.
The couple is said to have started having disagreements in 2013, but the relationship hit rock bottom after the man was sent packing by voters in the last polls.
This is after the wife established that her partner had been cheating on her with his long-time female friend who played a key role in his campaigns. The Grapevine has been told that it is only a matter of time before the politician’s wife files a divorce.
