Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed made a surprise visit in France on Friday before Harambee Stars played a pre-AFCON friendly match against Madagascar.
CS Mohamed vowed that the Government would fully support the team before the African Cup of Nations that will take place in Cairo, Egypt from June 21.
“I want to wish you well as you represent the country on this big stage. For as long as I am here, I want to assure you of my full support.
"Kenyans are fully behind you and we are looking forward to positive results,” said CS Mohamed.
Harambee Stars head coach Sébastien Migné on Friday, 7th named the squad to face Madagascar.
The squad list, as announced by Migné on FKF official website excluded Star striker Michael Olunga from the starting lineup while John Avire was named to lead the line alongside former Genk man Ayub Timbe, Gor Mahia’s Francis Kahata and Eric Johanna.
